As well as Counselling, meditation can give you space from all those thoughts and emotions that constantly pop into your head. Using meditation along-side the counselling process is a good tool to have and use in your own private space at home

Focusing on the breath helps you to experience a brief moment where you connect to your own self-awareness and learn how to face difficult feelings/emotions which can cause Anxiety etc. 

Meditation can alleviate anxiety, depression, physical pain etc. It can help you to feel calm and more focused while working through these difficult emotions.
